Think Outsourcing LLC is currently seeking a Painter to fill an available position. The painter is responsible for painting, maintaining, and repairing surfaces of the building, furniture, rooms and equipment throughout the facility. Must know how to apply plaster to surfaces, grout, caulk and work at a fast pace while keeping the work area clean of debris, spills and splatter of paint and plaster. Must know how to repair or install drywall and replace various types of tile. Most know how to wallpaper and take proper care of all materials, tools and equipment. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Paint, maintain and repair painted, wall-covered, stained and varnished surfaces of building structures, rooms, furniture and equipment throughout the hotel and facilities
- Prepare and paint surfaces using techniques and tools including, but not limited to, measuring surfaces, applying spackle and plaster, mixing paint, matching paint and using brushes, rollers and spray-guns
- Install and repair covered wall and ceiling surfaces including, but not limited to, hanging vinyl paper, fabric and foil wall coverings
- Keeps all buildings and equipment in good repair with a minimum of down time by providing day-to-day preventative maintenance under the direction of the Chief Engineer.
- Ensures paint and walls are maintained to standards.
- Continually works towards and supports the improvement of engineering services to guests and associates.
- Shares day to day knowledge and skills in support of a learning culture.
