As a Host/Host at Kula Lodge & Restaurant, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Located in the heart of Maui, this role is essential in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere while managing reservations and guest flow.
- Greet guests warmly and manage seating arrangements to ensure efficient service.
- Handle reservations and maintain an organized waitlist during peak hours.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to coordinate guest needs.
- Provide information about menu items and restaurant policies to guests.
- Assist with guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Proven experience in guest services or hospitality roles preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not required.
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
