ECU Health Medical Center, one of four academic medical centers in North Carolina, is the 974-bed flagship hospital for ECU Health and serves as the primary teaching hospital for The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. This position assists in providing quality food service to patient and non-patient customers through the transportation, delivery and retrieval of completed patient trays. Will perform a variety of tasks including cleaning and general sanitation operation of food service equipment; assist in services and preparation of the food and beverages to patients and non-patient customers.

Must be able to read, write and speak English (Bilingual in Spanish is encouraged)

1 - 3 years experience is required. Previous hospital food service experience is preferred.

Full time with benefits - 40 hours per week

Rotating shifts: The shifts range from 6:00am-2:30pm, 7:00am-3:30pm, 11:00am-7:30pm

Weekends are 12hour shifts. 6:00am-6:30pm 7:00am-7:30pm
