For as long as care is required, we are committed to patients and their families.- Initiate appropriate preventative nursing procedures and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician in the physician�s plan of care
- Counsel the patient and family in meeting nursing and related needs
- Assist the patient with daily living activities and facilitate the patient�s efforts toward self-sufficiency and optional comfort care
- Communicate with the physician regarding the patient�s needs and report changes in the patient�s condition; obtain and receives physician�s orders as required
- Provide direct hospice care with an emphasis on community health education and experience, and maintain a safe environment for the patient
- Primary series of the COVID-19 vaccine required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of Rhode Island
- CPR certification required
- Bachelor�s degree with one (1) year of hospice care, long-term care, or ICU experience required
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured by state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order
