Automatic Temperature Controls (ATC) is seeking a skilled and motivated Controls/DDC Technician to join our growing team. This role involves working on commercial building automation systems (BAS), including commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing DDC/HVAC control systems.

What You’ll Do:

· . Commission, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC controls projects

· . Interpret and work from control drawings, plans, and specifications

· . Perform point-to-point checkout and start-up of DDC systems

· . Use hand tools, laptops, and test equipment for onsite commissioning

· . Collaborate with IT departments to enable remote web access to systems

· . Analyze issues and ensure systems function as designed

· . Integrate factory controls with BAS for HVAC and electrical equipment

· . Work with BACnet protocol and Tridium/Niagara platform

What You Need:

· . 2-year technical degree or equivalent work experience

· . Experience with DDC/BAS systems and HVAC equipment

· . Familiarity with BACnet protocol and Tridium/Niagara systems

· . Strong computer and IT/networking skills

· . Ability to distinguish between electrical, HVAC, control, and IT issues

· . 1+ years experience with BAS or related systems preferred
