About the role


The Infra. Technology Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and supporting the IT infrastructure for our healthcare clients. With a focus on Incident Management Networking and Remote Desktop Support the candidate will ensure seamless operations and contribute to the efficiency of Medicare and Medicaid claims processing. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of payer systems and claims management.


In this role, you will:


  • Manage and resolve incidents related to IT infrastructure to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Oversee networking solutions to maintain robust and secure connectivity across all platforms.
  • Provide remote desktop support to ensure users have uninterrupted access to necessary resources.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize Medicare and Medicaid claims processing.
  • Implement best practices in incident management to enhance service delivery.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal functionality.
  • Support the integration of new technologies to improve claims processing efficiency.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure IT solutions align with business needs.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Facilitate training sessions for staff to enhance their technical skills.
  • Analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for IT infrastructure enhancements.

What you need to have to be considered


  • Possess a strong understanding of service desk application support and related technologies.

  • Exhibit strong communication skills both written and verbal to effectively interact with team members and end-users.
  • Have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.
  • Experience with hybrid work environments and the ability to manage tasks independently.
  • Familiarity with system integration processes and best practices.


This will help you stand out


  • Hold a bachelor�s degree in information technology or a related field.


Salary and Other Compensation:


Applications will be accepted until August 13, 2025.


The annual salary for this position is between $79,000 to $107,00 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.


This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
