Norwood-Fontbonne Academy is searching for a Varsity (7-8 Grade) Field Hockey Coach for the Fall 2025 season. Norwood is situated in the Chestnut Hill Section of Philadelphia.
- Plan and execute engaging and effective field hockey practices.
- Develop players' skills and understanding of the game.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect.
- Attend and actively participate in all scheduled games, practices, and team events.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with players, parents, and school administration.
- Previous coaching experience, preferred at the middle school level, but not a requirement.
- Strong knowledge of soccer techniques, strategies, and rules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire young student athletes.
- Commitment to fostering a positive environment
- Willingness to adhere to all school and league policies and procedures.

- PA Child Abuse Clearances
- Federal Criminal History Record forms (fingerprinting).The following online forms also also required

- This is a part-time position with after-school commitments and one Saturday during the season. (September - October).
- Practices and home games take place at Mount Saint Joseph's Academy
- One coach must take the bus to practices and games with the team
- The team practices or games held Mondays through Thursday from 3:15-5:15
