collaborate with Dr. Nicholas Chia at Argonne National Laboratory to advance the development of a Digital Gut Twin-a dynamic, AI-enabled model of the human gut ecosystem designed to simulate diet-microbiome-host interactions in real time. This project will integrate multi-omics datasets, nutritional inputs, and large language models to predict microbiome shifts and their downstream effects on inflammation and tumor biology. By combining my expertise in cancer biology and microbiome research with Dr. Chia’s computational systems biology approaches, we aim to prototype a virtual platform capable of informing precision nutrition and microbial therapy strategies for cancer prevention. The project contributes to national priorities in personalized medicine and AI-integrated health monitoring and will serve as the foundation for a future NIH R01 proposal targeting host-microbiome-diet interactions in early tumorigenesis.
