Grill Cook/Prep Cook

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a strong background in meal preparation. As a Grill Cook, you will play a vital role in our dietary department, ensuring that high-quality meals are prepared efficiently and safely for our patrons. You will be responsible for cooking various grilled items while adhering to health and safety regulations.

• Prepare and cook a variety of grilled foods, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  
• Assist in meal preparation for catering events, collaborating with the culinary team to create delicious offerings.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, including proper storage of food items and equipment.
  
• Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
  
• Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  
• Work closely with dietary aides to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences of guests.
  
• Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  

• Previous experience in the food industry or culinary field is preferred, particularly in grilling or cooking roles.
  
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
  
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  
• Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques.
  
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members in the kitchen.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
