The Golf Shop Associate will be responsible for providing the highest level of guest service. While working in the golf pro shop, fielding member calls for tee times and club operations questions, and maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Enthusiastically greet, engage & thank all members/guests
- Operation of the golf pro shop and learning the appropriate software
- Speak with guests in a friendly, warm manner making them feel welcome
- Display conduct in an appropriate manner at all times
- Utilize a working knowledge of club operations
- Render professional advice, opinions, assistance, and services as required.
- Promote the interests of the Club and Resort while providing service to the guest.
- Provide a guest friendly environment
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work successfully in a highly team-oriented atmosphere
- Must be able to work a rotating schedule including weekends, holidays, AM/PM Shifts
- Act as a role model for all employees by demonstrating the behavior and work ethic expected of all employees
- Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills
- Self-motivated with desire to promote and market Service and customer focused attitude
- Candidates must have valid work authorization for the U.S.
- Manage the daily business. Operate the golf shop.
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times
- Assist with the administration of applicable staff via recordkeeping, work schedules, etc. in accordance with facility human resource policies
