GIS Analyst/Developer
Asplundh Tree Experts (Asplundh) is seeking a Junior GIS Analyst & Developer to join the Asplundh Innovation Team, reporting to the Digital Product Manager.
The successful candidate will: -
- Work with the Digital Innovation Team to support critical business solutions & projects
- Collaborate with development, analytics and reporting platforms
- Develop field and mobile applications that integrate with operational spatial data and decision support tools.
- Undertake spatial analysis to support a variety of business operations
- Tertiary qualifications in Geospatial/GIS/Spatial, Computer Science, Geography or related field
- Practical experience in the use of the Esri suite such as ArcGIS Online for Organizations (FieldMaps & Survey123) and ArcGIS Desktop (Spatial Analysis)
- Experience with FME or other similar ETL tools is a plus
- Demonstrated capability working with vector & raster spatial data
- Effective communication skills and ability to manage tasks to meet deadlines
- Good analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to undertake research, analyze information and develop solutions to problems
- This role is a permanent full-time position based in Willow Grove, PA
