Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee operations at our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food service industry, with a focus on quick service and fast food restaurants, as well as fine dining. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, the ability to manage a diverse team, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, maintaining high standards of food safety, and driving profitability through effective management practices.


Responsibilities


  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage staff training and development programs to enhance team performance and service quality.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient cash handling and order processing.
  • Ensure high standards of food preparation, handling, and safety in accordance with health regulations.
  • Develop budgets and financial plans to achieve operational goals while maximizing profitability.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership practices.
  • Conduct interviews and hire staff to build a skilled workforce that aligns with our service standards.
  • Supervise kitchen operations, ensuring quality food production and presentation for all menu items.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions.


Skills


  • Strong background in food service management with experience in quick service & fast food restaurants as well as fine dining establishments.
  • Proficient in cash handling procedures and POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS).
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in team management, training & development, and shift management.
  • Knowledgeable in inventory control practices, budgeting, and financial management within the restaurant industry.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
  • Experience in supervising kitchen operations with an understanding of culinary techniques and food production processes.
  • Familiarity with hospitality management principles, including banquet experience and catering services.
