The primary purpose of the position is to perform general facilities repair and maintenance of equipment and buildings in support of unaccompanied housing operations.
+ Replacing electrical components such as receptacles, switches, wiring, fixtures, and motors.
+ Patching minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings using plaster or compound.
+ Repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
+ Painting buildings, structures, and equipment as needed.
+ Repairing or replacing concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.
+ Replacing damaged wall paneling and floor tiles.
+ Hanging doors and installing or replacing door locks.
+ Replacing broken window panes.
+ Performing general maintenance and basic repairs on equipment and machinery.
+ Identifying and documenting Real Property Inventory items.
