Job Description
This position responsibilities include conducting routine inspections of the premises, coordinating assignments, and performing preventive maintenance tasks to uphold safety and efficiency standards. In conjunction with the Building Services Supervisor and Facilities Director, the GMW Lead will assist with set-up requests campus wide as needed and provide work direction to other general maintenance staff and assist on other assigned responsibilities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:* In conjunction with Supervisor, the General Maintenance Worker Lead will oversee the cleaning of college buildings and assist in projects so that the clean appearance and the safe, efficient operation of the campus and its grounds are maintained.
Salary Range
$23.26 - $25.77 / hourly; $48,566 - $53,807 / annually
Minimum Qualifications* Knowledge of principles of leadwork sufficient to plan, direct, provide training for, monitor and review the work of other employees.
Physical Requirements* Regularly engage in bending, lifting (up to 25 pounds), and maneuvering tasks.

Current and former employees must be in good standing with Minneapolis College to be considered for the position.
