General Laborer - Saw Operator

Saw Operator:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Insures that all work is done in accordance with and adheres to Company ISO9001:2015 and Quality standards.
  
• Check saw equipment for proper operating conditions, wear items, coolant levels and mixture concentrations.
  
• Load material into machine utilizing a fork truck and secure to ensure safe operation.
  
• On all orders, layout first piece and check size and tolerance with appropriate tools or personnel assistance for conformance to blueprints, drawings or specifications; monitor saw throughout the process.
  
• Operate saw, verify dimensions of material before and throughout the cutting process, adjust machine stops, feeds and speeds as necessary to conform to specifications and given tolerances throughout the cutting process
  
• Ensure quality and conformity of products meets or exceeds customers� standards.
  
• Continuously works in a manner to ensure safety of self and others.
  
• Prepare product for shipment at or above customer expectations.
  
• Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given tasks.
  
• Maintains a clean and safe work space and shop appearance throughout the shop, including, but not limited to organizing, cleaning, sweeping, taking out trash.
  
• Record and document inventory transactions and perform periodic cycle counts to assure stock levels are accurate.
  
• Other duties as assigned.

• Able to lift up to 50 lb
  

Experience & Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  
• At least 1 plus years of experience operating a horizontal saw in a manufacturing environment.
  
• Forklift certified a plus - we will train and certify.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per year
