G.O. Loop LLC was started in 2005 and has been growing steadily ever since. We specialize in closed loop geothermal installations and have installed over 2,500 such systems. We work on any loop system from small residential installations up to large scale commercial applications. Our projects involve vertical drilling, directional drilling, trench excavation and pond installation.
We are currently looking to hire someone to help with our geothermal installations. We work around the state of Wisconsin but primarily the southern half. We offer a good amount of work variety in an interesting and growing industry but with a small business/family atmosphere. There can be occasional times staying overnight when jobs are more than 2 hours away, but most nights are home. Pay would depend on amount of experience, mechanical ability, etc. A CDL is not required but is helpful. The majority of the time this position would be in the field helping to lay and fuse pipe, helping with running pumps to flush systems, eventually running mini excavators or skid loaders or doing some shop work if mechanically inclined. Ideally this position could also involve helping as a locator for our directional boring jobs. Experience with directional boring would be helpful, but is not required. Most likely would be laid off some during the winter.
- Primarily doing geothermal pipe installation at residential sites as well as commercial construction sites and potentially locating for a directional drill.
- May operate hand and power tools of all types: hammer drills, saws, compactors, compressors, pumps, fusion tools and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
