Previous experience is preferred but not necessary . In general, candidates should possess a valid driver’s license. Additionally, candidates should be able to work long hours on their feet, lifting heavy objects several times a day.
- No previous experience necessary, will provide on the job training.
- Perform a variety of tasks involving physical labor on construction projects.
- Pipelaying, dirt site grading, forming and pouring concrete, building bridges.
- Ability to follow orders, while also staying self-motivated and identifying tasks that need to be done.
- Safely operate hand and power tools.
- Assist in daily maintenance of equipment.
- Work weeks are typically 45+ hours.
- Some projects may require being out of town.
- Interact with clients, owners, engineers, inspectors and the public in a professional manner.
- Maintain a safe and clean jobsite.
