Busy front office position responsible for educating guests about our program and room availability.

About Us:

The Craftsbury Outdoor Center (COC) is a community-focused athletic training facility and outdoor destination located on a lakeside campus in Craftsbury, Vermont. Your familiarity with and admiration for working and playing in a small and rural community will help the COC achieve our Mission:* To support and promote participation and excellence in lifelong sports with a special focus on Rowing, Cross Country Skiing, Biathlon and Running.

Position Summary:

Front office clerk with the following schedule:

Wednesday 11AM to 7PM

Thursday 10AM to 6PM

Friday 10 AM to 6PM

Saturday 11AM to 7PM

Some holidays will be required.

The Outdoor Center has two off seasons - late March to early May and mid-October to mid-November. Employees will have a reduced number of hours during seasonal shutdowns.

Pay:$18.00 per hourto start.

How to succeed in this role:Our reservation team of four employees serve as front line ambassadors for the Outdoor Center. We want you to be an active and engaging member for our busy department. You will arrive on time for your shift and display a positive attitude while performing the various aspects of your position. Major Duties & Responsibilities May Include:* Answer phones and complete room reservations.

• Reply to a guest�s questions and concerns with diplomacy and professionalism.
  
• Welcome / Check In guests and Thank / Check Out guests.
  

Use Square* for retail shop sales

• Stock/Re-stock retail shop inventory items.
  
• Process Class 2 alcohol sales (we will provide training and licensing.)
  

Required Qualifications:* Education: A high school diploma or GED is required.

Solid and dependable work ethic.* Driving:

Must have reliable transportation.

Desired Skills:* Comfortable with multi-tasking.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

• Comfortable with frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
