Carefree Lawn, Inc is needs additional help on our lawn, sprinkler, and landscaping crews for the summer. If you enjoy working outdoors, then the green industry is a great place to start. We have employee benefits and provide additional training for employee advancement such as technical skills, equipment operation, and leadership.

We perform various types of landscaping such as plantings, retaining walls, pavers and lighting, install commercial and residential sprinkler systems and have a sprinkler service department that services the western Black Hills. Position is full time Mon - Fri.

There is room for advancement to crew leader or service tech positions as they open up. We are always training for advancement.

(Crew Leaders)Fill out daily log of activities using an app

Operate walk behind and commercial mowers to mow residential and commercial lawns

Operate weed eater to trim lawns

Prune bushes and trees with power tools

Weed Flower beds

Operate aerator and power rake

Hand raking and digging occasionally

Maintain and service equipment

Loading/unloading equipment

Maintain a schedule

Assist the the landscape crew when needed with the following:

Digging and raking

Laying sod

Planting and watering

Sprinkler Installation

Install mortarless segmental concrete retaining wall blocks and pavers

Maintain properties using hand or power tools or small equipment

Daily setup and clean up

Maintaining an orderly truck and shop

Snow Removal, snow plow truck.

Remodel Work in the winter.

1. Maintain a safe, drug and alcohol-free work place.

2. Self-Motivated and able to work with a team

3. Follow written and oral instruction.

4. Maintain tools and equipment.

5. Be able to tolerate various weather conditions.

6. Be able to lift 80lbs, transfer vertically weight up to 100lbs.

7. Have reliable transportation to and from work

8. A Driver's license is preferred and may be necessary for hire

This position pays between

Vacation will accrue as a percentage of the hours worked and will be eligible for use after 1 year and as outlined in the employee manual.

Employees are eligible for Holiday Pay after 90 days.

Bonus programs for snow removal up to an additional $5/hour

Performance bonuses for great work, reliability and attitude.

Cost of living raises, quarterly with inflation.
