SCS Tile is hiring a reliable and hardworking
Laborer / Yard Assistant to support daily operations at our outdoor slab yard and warehouse. This is a physically demanding role that involves working outdoors, loading materials, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.- Assist with premises clean-up and general yard maintenance
- Load orders into customer and delivery vehicles
- Operate a forklift safely to move heavy stone materials (training will be provided)
- Work closely with a small team of 2-3 others in a cooperative, careful environment
- Spend 90% of the workday outdoors in heat and sun
- Handle heavy lifting of up to 75 lbs regularly
- Move throughout the yard confidently and safely without rushing
- Able to lift and move up to 75 lbs throughout the day
- Comfortable working outdoors in high heat for extended periods
- Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to learn)
- High attention to safety, patience, and careful handling of materials
- Works well in a team, communicates clearly, and follows instructions

- Full time, flexible schedule, from 40-55 hours available per week (Operating hours are Monday - Saturday 8AM - 5PM)
- Start $18.00 per hour, automatic $1.00 increase after 90 days (3 months)
- Valid drivers license required, Saturday required
