We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for guest services within a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and presented beautifully before serving to guests.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding their orders and any special requests.
- Adhere to food handling and safety standards at all times.
- Support the team during busy periods by assisting with additional tasks as needed.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and customer service principles is beneficial.
- Experience with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest services and teamwork.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
