Primary Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking for experienced individuals to support the Production Staff, as well as our partners, in both production tasks and event management.


As a Production Crew member at the Fisher Center for the Performing Arts, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of live concerts and events. You will assist with various production tasks including audio, video, lighting, and stage support. This position requires strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to adapt quickly to dynamic environments.

  • Assist event staff in audio, video, lighting, and stage support for live concerts and events.
  • Operate, organize, and maintain production equipment to the highest standard.
  • Communicate effectively with crew, cast, and production team members.
  • Quickly resolve unexpected issues that arise during shows/events.
  • Adapt to changing plans and troubleshoot show needs.
  • Set up and break down equipment before and after events, ensuring all gear is properly stored and maintained.
  • Take initiative and show a willingness to go above and beyond basic responsibilities.


Required Qualifications* Strong interest in live event production and performing arts.
  • Basic knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and/or stage equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.


Required Education Must be enrolled as a student at Belmont University. Preference to students in related fields (music business - production, audio engineering technology, video production, creative entertainment industry, motion pictures, digital musicianship, etc.)


Required Experience No previous employment history necessary, however, applicants without job history must give examples of their ability with production skill sets and event operations skill sets in other environments
