Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finisher to join our shop team. As a Finisher, you will be responsible for applying stains, paints, sealers, and topcoats to custom wood products, ensuring every piece meets our high-quality standards before it leaves the shop. You’ll work closely with our production and installation teams to deliver flawless finishes on custom millwork for commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare wood surfaces by sanding, filling, and cleaning
  
• Mix and apply stains, paints, sealers, and clear coats using spray equipment, brushes, and hand techniques
  
• Match colors and touch up finishes as needed
  
• Maintain finishing booth, tools, and materials in a clean and organized condition
  
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality specifications
  
• Collaborate with production team to meet deadlines and resolve finishing issues
  
• Follow all safety and environmental guidelines related to finishing processes
  

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in wood finishing, preferably in architectural millwork or custom cabinetry
  
• Strong knowledge of finishing materials, techniques, and equipment
  
• Ability to color match and apply consistent finishes
  
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
  
• Ability to read shop drawings is a plus
  
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team
