Financial Manager

Lucas Industries, a PCM INNOVATION Company, is a small manufacturer specializing in precision aerospace engineering, tooling and parts.

We are currently seeking a motivated financial manager for local operations in North Springfield, Vermont. This position requires a self- motivated person who maintains an exceptional working relationship with colleagues, vendors, and customers. Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel is required.

• All accounting functions including invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank deposits/reconciliation, and general journal entries.
  
• Weekly Payroll with outside provider, year-end payroll requirements plus 1099 tax filings.
  
• Preparation of journal entries and financial statements for month-end management review and year-end accountant audits.
  
• Manages the company's cash flow on a day-to-day basis.
  
• Furnishes weekly internal reports to parent company.
  
• 401K weekly contributions, annual reports, year-end tax reports, annual meetings, and 401K portfolio management.
  
• Responsible for providing effective financial controls for the organization.
  
• Insurance implementation and annual review- worker's compensation, building and equipment.
  
• Human resource functions including new employee orientation and employee benefits administration- health insurance, disability insurance, 401K, H.S.A, and personal time off tracking.
  
• Qualifications
  
• BA / BS in Accounting, Business Administration or related field with 1 to 3 years' experience.
  
• Relevant work experience will be considered.
  
• OR- Technical college degree with 5 or more years in financial and administrative management experience.
  
• Proven experience in corporate accounting and financial management.
  
• Knowledge of an ERP system is a plus.
  
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on risk analysis and strategic planning.
  
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  
• Proficiency in generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  
• Exceptional leadership abilities with a commitment to team development.

Pay: $66,155.01 - $81,670.55 per year
