The Utah State Tax Commission is looking for a dynamic, passionate and adventurous person to fill the position of Financial Analyst II. This person will play an integral role in the Tax Commission's mission to provide quality service in protection of taxpayer's funds. This is done by ensuring the state allowed per diem rates are followed.

Starting salary will be $23.84 hourly. We will follow DHRM rules for transfers, promotions, or demotions for current state employees.
Remote/Flex Work ScheduleThis position may be eligible for remote work (within Utah), with occasional in-office work, located at the Utah State Tax Commission building: 210 N 1950 W SLC, UT.* This position is currently a hybrid of both in-office and remote work days.

+ Tier 2 Hybrid Retirement System. Employer contributes an amount equal to 10% of your salary between both plans (pension and 401(k))
+ Tier 2 Defined Contribution Plan. Employer contributes an amount equal to 10% of your salary to a 401(k) plan only.
+ Employees who have any service credit with an employer covered by the Utah Retirement Systems prior to 7/1/2011 are in Tier I Public Employees System.
+ Annual leave and sick leave are accrued at 4 hours per pay period each (4 hours annual, 4 hours sick).
+ Annual leave increases with years of service.
