Financial Analyst

• Lead monthly financial analysis and reporting for transportation operations
  
• Develop and maintain dynamic models tracking cost per mile, lane profitability, driver pay, and equipment utilization
  
• Analyze key cost drivers-fuel, maintenance, insurance, and subcontractor expenses-to uncover savings opportunities
  
• Partner with operations, fleet management, and sales to refine pricing strategies and elevate margin performance
  
• Support annual budgeting, prepare forecasts, and deliver variance analyses
  
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within large datasets and present actionable insights to senior leadership
  
• Create management presentations, dashboards, and variance reports that drive strategic decisions
  
• Ensure all financial processes align with company policies and industry best practices
  

• Bachelor�s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  
• 2-5 years of financial analysis experience-ideally in transportation, logistics, or supply chain
  
• Expert-level Excel skills (modeling, pivot tables, advanced formulas)
  
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and data-interpretation skills
  
• Clear communicator who thrives collaborating across departments
  
• Hands-on with ERP systems such as McLeod, Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite
  

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau
  
• Background in freight brokerage or asset-based operations
  
• CPA, CFA, or MBA (completed or in progress)
  

$75,000 / year + 10% performance incentive
