INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT MECHANIC works at customer sites in a shop environment. Responsible for troubleshooting electro-mechanical problems, installations, and performing unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance on forklift/equipment.Training provided to become a Raymond Certified Technician from Basic Certified, Level 1, Level 2, and Master Certified.
Mechanic dispatched from home and compensated for hours worked. Typical workweek consists of 40 or more hours. - Mechanical / electrical aptitude
- Effectively use volt, ohm and multimeters, operate personal hand tools, grinders, pressers, forklift, hoists, overhead cranes
- Read and interpret schematics and manuals
- Customer focused, professional communication skills.
- Work independently and as a team member
- Sense of urgency with commitment to achieving success
- Working knowledge of personal computers, familiarity with cellphone, internet and email functions. Must be able to enter data accurately.
- Good driving record
- Analyze breakdowns of customer equipment and recommend action to correct
- Complete major repairs and overhaul industrial forklift equipment
- Perform scheduled maintenance on forklift / industrial equipment
- Provide superior customer service
