ENTACT is actively seeking a Field Engineer in the environmental remediation and geotechnical construction industry. Candidates must be open to sustained project-based travel within the US, at least 80% of the time. Project locations will vary depending on the assignment. Candidates can reside anywhere within the US. ENTACT offers per diem/living allowance and paid monthly trips home.

Position Summary:The position of Field Engineer will work closely with all members of the management and health and safety team. This position includes quality control, surveying, KPI tracking, and other responsibilities related to the proper and timely execution of ENTACT projects. Must be self-motivated to meet deadlines, communicate effectively in a teamwork setting and be able to adapt role/responsibilities in a fast-paced ever-changing environment. Associates must be open to periods of sustained project-based travel. Must have a valid driver’s license with no driving restrictions which interfere with job requirements.
Work Environment:The Field Engineer completes their work in varying environments from a typical office setting to a construction/field setting.

• HAZWOPER 40 hr. training is highly preferred but not required.

• Heat extremes when wearing certain types of PPE. Wear Level C and D PPE including cotton, Tyvek, chemical protective coveralls, eye and face protection, hand protection, etc. Potential for Level A and B PPE exists.
  
• Working on elevations such as scaffolding, bridges, buildings, etc.
  
• Expected to lift objects weighing 1 to 25 lbs. on a regular basis and may be required to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  
• Donning of varying types of personal protective equipment (PPE) as project requirements and conditions warrant. Minimum PPE includes steel toe safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs and reflective safety vest.
  
• Working in loud or noisy environments.
  

Environmental/Atmospheric Conditions:Environmental and atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job include:

• Outside construction site, onsite office space.
  
• The terrain is rugged and may be difficult to navigate.
  
• Dusty and windy atmospheres.
  
• Confined spaces.
  
• Hot Environments.
  
• Noisy work environments.
  
• Contaminated atmospheres (i.e. fumes, vapor, lead dust, H2S, etc.).
  

Personal Protective Equipment:* Different types of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be worn including, but not limited to hard hat, hearing protection such as ear plugs or muffs, eye protection such as safety glasses, goggles, face shield, etc., welders helmet, safety vest, various types of gloves including leather, Nitrile, latex, etc., steel toe boots, and various respiratory protection such as dust masks, half face and full face respirators, SCBAs, APRs, etc. may be required depending on site conditions. Protective coveralls include cotton, Tyvek, fire retardant, chemical protective, etc.

Salary Range: $68,000 - $100,000 inclusive of Team Share Bonus
