What We’re Looking For:

Responsibilities:

• Installing fiber optic internet services, delivering top-quality service, and providing product education to both residential and commercial customers
  
• Installation of aerial and underground fiber optic cables from servicing terminals to demarcation at the customer's premises.
  
• Clean & connect fiber cable at the FSAI, MST, and ONT.
  
• Must have experience with aerial and/or underground cable installation
  
• Must have worked at heights of 18+ feet on an extension ladder
  
• Strong customer communication skills & the ability to explain technical issues to customers is required
  
• May climb and work at elevations (e.g., from ladders, lift trucks) exceeding 18 feet
  
• May perform strenuous physical activities including, but not limited to lifting objects weighing over 75 pounds
  
• May perform job activities outdoors in different weather conditions (e.g., extreme cold and/or heat, inclement weather)
  
• When working aloft, employee's weight and tools combined may not exceed the 300-pound weight limit as specified by the manufacturer
  

Requirements:

• Must have their own truck, van, or SUV with a ladder rack
  
• Must have their own tools to perform the job
  
• Must have Android smart phones
  
• Must have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include lace up boots with a defined 1/2-inch heel, hard hat, reflective vest, fall resistor, & safety cones
  
• Other equipment may be required by local management
  
• Must be available to work flexible hours. Weekend work may be required.
  
• Must pass background check and drug test
