FEA/CFD Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CFD Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to support various projects. This role is critical in analyzing and optimizing designs through simulations, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and contributing to innovative solutions.

• Conduct CFD simulations to analyze fluid flow, heat transfer, and other related phenomena.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project schedules and ensure timely delivery of engineering solutions.
  
• Perform root cause analysis on design issues and propose effective solutions.
  
• Create and interpret schematics, ensuring adherence to codes and standards.
  
• Utilize tools such as Creo for drafting and modeling mechanical components.
  
• Apply Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques to assess structural integrity under various conditions.
  
• Implement Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) practices in design documentation.
  
• Engage in prototyping using Arduino for testing and validation of designs.
  
• Maintain detailed documentation of processes, results, and recommendations for future projects.
  

• Bachelor�s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  
• Proficiency in CFD software tools and methodologies.
  
• Strong understanding of codes and standards relevant to mechanical engineering.
  
• Experience with FEA techniques is highly desirable.
  
• Familiarity with project scheduling tools and methodologies.
  
• Ability to draft technical documents using Creo or similar CAD software.
  
• Knowledge of GD&T principles is preferred.
  
• Experience with Arduino or similar platforms for prototyping is a plus.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $90,986.48 - $109,575.13 per year
