We’re looking for a reliable, outgoing, and responsible team member to represent our brand at local farmers markets. As our Farmers Market Attendant, you’ll be the face of the company-sharing product knowledge, engaging with customers, handling sales, and maintaining a beautiful, inviting booth. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys local food, meeting new people, and spending the day outdoors.
- Set up and break down the market booth (tent, tables, signage, products, coolers, etc.)
- Transport products to/from the market if needed (vehicle provided or mileage reimbursed)
- Represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Educate customers about our products, values, and sourcing practices
- Handle sales transactions via POS system (Square or similar) and manage cash/change
- Restock and organize display to maintain an appealing presentation throughout the day
- Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards
- Track inventory and provide feedback on customer questions or product interest
- Friendly, engaging personality with great communication skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Comfortable using a POS system (training provided)
- Interest in local food, farming, or sustainability is a big plus
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the market
- This is a part-time, seasonal position with potential to grow
