First Care Medical Centers, LLC is an established Urgent Care Clinic located in South Anchorage. Our hours of operation is 7:00am-11pm 7 days a week with onsite x-ray, and a CLIA waived lab for immediate results.
We are currently seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner to work in our Urgent Care Clinic from 3pm-11pm Monday-Friday. You will be responsible for providing high-quality urgent care services to patients of all ages. Tasks to include conducting patient assessments, diagnosing, and treating medical conditions, prescribing medications, and developing personalized treatment plans. Additionally the applicant will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
We have onsite x-ray and CLIA waived lab for point of care testing to include but not limited to: CBC, CMP, Lipids, A1C, Chem 13, flu, strep, covid, mono, HIV, BV, GC/Chlamydia, Trich.
Applicant must be currently licensed to practice medicine in Alaska
Current DEA license
Prior experience in Family Medicine or Urgent Care is desirable
DOT certification is a plus
Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
