Under the direction of the COO, the Facility Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the following:

• Communicate with machinery manufacturer�s service department via email or phone in resolving issues whenever necessary.
  
• Designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety, quality and throughout.
  
• Discussing and solving complex problems with production, quality, maintenance departments, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
  
• Training the maintenance staff in control fields to improve the troubleshooting skills.
  
• Perform routine maintenance around the interior and exterior of building.
  
• Perform minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures, wall switches, and outlets, changing light bulbs, using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools.
  
• Perform minor plumbing maintenance to include but not be limited to repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, ect.
  
• Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures.
  
• Planning & scheduling repairs, conducting quality checks on equipment regularly.
  

• Spanish Speaking (Preferred)
  
• Forklift experience beneficial.
  
• Must be able to lift 30+ (Heavy lifting required)
  
• Physical Effort: Must have the ability to climb in overhead structures, to work beneath machines, and in close quarters performing repair work.
  
• Position requires maturity, confidentiality, and the ability to interface with various departments and individuals. Must be flexible and able to work independently, and as part of a team as workflows dictate.
  
• Hours are 6AM to 2:30PM, plus OT & Saturdays if required.
  

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65.00 - $90.00 per year
