Job Summary

Roman Home LLC operates group homes for children in the greater central/west valley and is currently seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee several residential homes including upkeep and repair of the homes and grounds. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, self-motivated and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities include:


  • Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks for all properties
  • Paint walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed
  • Respond to emergency repairs as needed
  • Clean and maintain all properties
  • Pick up furniture and assemble
  • Take the initiative to improve processes and maintenance methods
  • Repair plumbing systems which can include replacing faucets, toilets, water tanks, and garbage disposals
  • Carpentry projects such as fixing cabinets, repairing doors, and installing trim.
  • Be responsible for ordering supplies, and delivery of all items needed
  • Be available to work on an on-call basis for emergencies
  • Completes grounds work to include picking up trash, sweeping, pressure washing, and maintaining landscape.
  • Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
  • Assist with landscaping tasks including lawn care, maintenance and repairs
  • Ensure necessary tools are on hand


Requirements:


  • Knowledge of various trades including but not limited to drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, installing and repairing fixtures
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential resident information.
  • Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools
  • Must own basic hand tools
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
  • Property maintenance or handyman experience
  • Pass a background check and drug screening
  • Have or able to obtain a level one fingerprint clearance card
  • Have an Arizona Driver�s license and auto insurance
  • Reliable transportation


Schedule:


  • 40 hours a week
  • Monday-Friday (on call as needed ability to flex schedule)
  • 8:00am-4:00pm
  • May be scheduled for morning, afternoon, or evening shifts during the regular workweek and or weekends.


(Can consider part time and open to different schedule)


Job Types: Full-time, Part-time


Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour


Expected hours: 40 per week

License/Certification:
