What you'll be doing:


  • Perform tasks such as shearing, drilling, de-burring, and all bench operations to produce products and components to specifications.
  • Select appropriate tools, machines and materials used in preparation and set-up of fabrication.
  • Measure, examine and test completed items to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring equipment.
  • Monitor product quality during the process.
  • Maintain machines, applying knowledge of fabrication, shop mathematics, metal properties, layouts and procedures.
  • Complete fabrication of components and finished products.
  • Identify and solve problems related to fabrication.


What do you need to be considered for the job?


  • Read and interpret drawings, follow workflow, use fundamental math, use machines and basic handheld measuring tools to produce products and components according to specifications.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
  • Follow all prescribed safety regulations.
  • Identify component defects and non-conformance to specifications and take corrective action to solve problem.
  • Dependable - arrive at 6:00 am and be ready for the day.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
