Experienced Small Engine Mechanic / Indoor Shop / AC

Caliber Equipment Inc. is looking for an Experienced Mechanic to join our Richmond, VA restoration and repair shop. We have an air conditioned bay with your name on it, a team of mechanics who will show you the ropes, and a very large inventory of equipment in need of your expertise. This is a full time position with great benefits, M-F, 8:00AM-4:30PM, no weekends and overtime is available.

An experienced small engine mechanic who is coming from a forklift, automotive, floor scrubber, sweeper, or industrial equipment background. You're a team player who is great at what you do and not afraid to help others when they need it. You work hard and expect to be rewarded for that. • Repair: Diagnosing and repairing machines including engines, transmissions, steering mechanisms, hydraulic systems or other components of vehicles and machinery.
  
• Restore: Restoring machines to working condition, fully breaking down machines to their base and rebuilding with new parts and wearables as needed.
  

• At least 3 years of mechanical experience with small engines, automobile, diesel, hydraulics and or electrical equipment repair.
  
• A positive/career-minded attitude and a willingness to learn.
  
• A safety-first approach to shop life: you like your bay clean and organized.
