Must have a strong background in mechanical and technical skills.
10 years experience in the plastics industry (plastic straw or tubing industry)
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot machinery.
Experience in material handling system, air compressor and water chiller.
Able to work in a fast- paced environment along with multi-tasking.
Setup extrusion machine, prepare tooling, start up the production line.
Perform production line changeover.
Know all the parameters on the machine and know how to make adjustments.
Follow relevant SOP to start up and shut down production and clean out.
Perform diagnosis and troubleshoot machinery to obtain better productivity.
Fix or replace malfunctional components.
Perform machine preventive maintenance and major repairs.
Assist with other coworkers in production when needed.
