Experienced Mechanical Estimator

We are seeking an Estimator to join our team at James Craft & Son, Inc. As an Estimator, you will play a vital role in analyzing project costs and preparing accurate estimates to ensure successful project execution. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional construction services.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for various construction projects.
  
• Analyze contracts and specifications to determine project requirements.
  
• Manage project budgets and implement effective cost control measures.
  
• Utilize Quick Pen software for accurate estimating and bidding processes.
  
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment on project goals.
  
• Communicate with the client, gather all necessary data, and analyze all information in order to assemble complete project cost.
  
• Conduct site visits to gather data for accurate estimating.
  

• Previous experience in the Commercial/Industrial Plumbing, Heating and HVAC Fields- i.e.- field experience or prior estimating experience
  
• Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field.
  
• Strong knowledge of cost control principles and practices.
  
• Familiarity with Quick Pen or similar estimating software is preferred.
  
• Effective communication skills.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
