Experienced Flat Rate Automotive Technician

Nucar Honda of Norwood is looking for a reliable and experienced

Flat Rate Automotive Service Technician to join our busy, growing dealership team.

We are a high-volume dealership located in a convenient, easily accessible area in a shop equipped with heat and AC. Our commitment to excellence has earned us a loyal customer base, and we're looking to add a driven technician to help us continue to deliver top-notch service.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive service technician, preferably in a dealership setting. Brand experience preferred, but not required.
  
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair processes.
  
• Detail-Oriented: Ability to accurately complete service orders and document work performed.
  
• Team Player: Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  
• Certifications: ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
  

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems.
  
• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
  
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems.
  
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  
• Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to ensure timely and quality repairs.
  
• Stay up to date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
  

Flat Rate Pay System:

At Nucar Honda of Norwood, we utilize a

flat rate pay system for qualified technicians. This means you are paid a predetermined amount for each specific repair or task you complete, based on the estimated time to complete the job set by manufacturer guidelines.

How It Works:

• If a job is estimated to take 2 hours, you are paid for 2 hours of work, regardless of whether you finish it in 1 hour or it takes you 3 hours.
