Responsibilities
- Able to read and understand construction blue prints, drawings and sketches
- Able to layout for framing, cabinets and concrete forming
- Install window frames, door frames, door hardware, wall stud framing, wall sheeting and other commercial materials
- Accurately measure and cut various materials such as; wood studs, metal studs, sheeting and composites
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Ability to work in all weather
- Must be punctual and reliable
- 5 years experience as carpenter
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
- Understanding of basic math
