Job summary: The company is seeking an experienced and skilled Commercial Roofer to join its growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining diverse commercial roofing systems,

• Install, repair, and replace various commercial roofing systems, including but not limited to TPO, PVC, EPDM, metal roofing, and coatings.
  
• Conduct thorough roof inspections to identify necessary repairs and potential issues, providing comprehensive assessments and solutions.
  
• Measure and cut roofing materials to ensure accurate fits around vents, gutters, chimneys, and walls.
  
• Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively to install roofing materials and components.
  
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA guidelines for fall protection, ladder safety, and proper handling of tools and materials.
  
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other tradespeople to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
  
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress, addressing concerns, and maintaining positive relationships.
  
• Transport and manage roofing materials and equipment efficiently and safely to and from job sites.
  
• May be responsible for training and mentoring junior roofers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  

• Proven experience as a Commercial Roofer (typically 3-5 years or more) with a strong understanding of various roofing systems and installation techniques.
  
• Working knowledge of local building codes and industry best practices in roofing.
  
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs or more).
  
• Valid driver's license (preferred) and reliable transportation required.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and client interaction.
  
• Successful completion of a roofing apprenticeship program is preferred.
  
• OSHA safety training certification (e.g., OSHA 10 or 30) is preferred.
  

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
