Job Purpose


To safely and efficiently maintain operations by machining quality parts to print. On-the-job training will be provided for those with the right attitude and willingness to learn.


Schedule

“First Shiftâ€, Full Time.


6:00 am to 4:30 pm from Monday to Thursday. Overtime on Fridays as needed.

Primary Duties


  • Creates standard drawings, and creates complex drawings, which involve dimensions, tolerancing, intricate details, auxiliary views, and projections from sketches, layouts, or engineering data as required.
  • Assists in preparing bills of material, engineering change orders, and other documentation.
  • Creates CAD/CAM databases, CAD models, and CAM process models.
  • Creates CNC programs for multitasking mill-turn machine tools and provides some technical support to manufacturing personnel.
  • Perform complex set-ups and various machining operations as required.
  • Experience with close tolerance precision machining.
  • Maintain high awareness of safety procedures.
  • Maintain work area in a safe, neat, and orderly manner.

  • Be able to work overtime on Fridays as needed.
  • Maintain basic English communication skills.
  • Under limited supervision, must be able to do first-time-run-through on his or her programs accurately and timely to ensure proper documentation and setup information for repeat runs.
  • Experience in CAD/CAM and machining centers with Fanuc and Yasnac controls.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience working with quotes.
  • Working experience and familiarity with Makino machines (Highly preferred) among other common brands (Makino A51NX, A55, A66 / Haas VF6, VF4, ST20 / SMEC SL2000 / Nakamura - Tome AS-200L) to name a few.
  • SolidWorks experience.
  • Under limited supervision, must be able to do first-time-run-through on his or her programs accurately and timely to ensure proper documentation and setup information for repeat runs.


Physical Requirements


  • Be able to lift 50 pounds consistently, and without help.
  • Be able to carry, bend, push, and twist. The frequency will vary depending on the day�s tasks.
  • Be able to stand or sit for 10 hours per day.
