Opportunity Summary


BB Living is seeking an Executive/ Personal Assistant to assist the partners of a rapidly growing company in the single-family “Build to Rent†industry, based in Scottsdale, Arizona. This role will report the Director of Human Resources in conjunction with the direct executives.

The company has grown from a niche investment born out of the Great Financial Crisis to a highly attractive, stabilized business with a presence in the top markets and communities across the United States and the reputation as the leader in the build to rent asset class.


After successfully sourcing and building over 1,000 homes in Phoenix, BB Living partnered with a public homebuilder in 2018 to expand the build to rent strategy nationwide. Through this partnership, BB Living has established themselves as the best-in-class build to rent operator with +/- 20 communities owned/controlled, representing +/- 4,000 homes across 10 markets and a robust acquisitions pipeline in place for future growth of the business.


Leveraging our track record and vertically integrated team, BB Living has sourced communities in high barrier to entry markets and the top masterplanned communities across the country, which has elevated the quality of our portfolio relative to other single-family rental and build to rent operators.


Key Responsibilities:


Executive Support


  • Manage daily calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
  • Prepare agendas, take meeting notes, and follow up on action items
  • Screen calls, emails, and other communications, prioritizing for attention
  • Make travel arrangements including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and itineraries
  • Assist with presentation creation, reports, and professional correspondence
  • Handle confidential documents and sensitive information with discretion


Personal Support


  • Manage personal calendar, appointments, and family coordination
  • Coordinate household staff, vendors, and service providers
  • Make reservations, place orders, and manage gift purchases and deliveries
  • Oversee personal travel planning and logistics
  • Assist with event planning, including both personal and corporate functions
  • Run errands and complete miscellaneous personal tasks as needed


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and scheduling platforms
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to anticipate needs and work independently
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle pressure gracefully
  • Professional presence and a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Familiarity with both business and household operations is a plus


Qualifications


  • 5+ years experience in a similar executive or personal assistant role
  • Experience in a start up preferred
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible, dependable, and responsive with a 24/7 mindset when necessary
