Pomraning Excavation LLC is a small family owned and operated business in Anchorage, AK. Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a variety of heavy equipment, including but not limited to bulldozers and backhoes. CDL is preferred, but not necessary.
- As needed, perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Safely and efficiently operate equipment to complete assigned tasks, such as digging, building, and moving materials.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment.
- Collaborate with job site supervisor to coordinate work activities and ensure project deadlines are met.
Experience:
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment.
- If a CDL is held, have familiarity with commercial driving regulations and requirements.
- Strong knowledge of equipment operation techniques and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or construction plans, or can train on the job.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
