Job Title: EPIC Super User RN (Contract)
Location: South Kingstown, RI (Onsite)
Shift: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Contract Duration: 3 Months
Compensation: $58.97/hr.

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced

EPIC Super Users with RN backgrounds to support the successful use and optimization of EPIC within a clinical setting. This position offers a unique opportunity to be a key player during EPIC implementations, upgrades, and user support efforts.

This is an

onsite, full-time contract role requiring 40 hours per week. Initial weeks (Weeks 1 and 2) may include schedule adjustments for orientation and training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary support contact for clinical staff needing assistance with EPIC workflows and functionality.
  
• Deliver hands-on support during EPIC implementations, go-lives, and system upgrades.
  
• Facilitate and support user training and refresher sessions.
  
• Monitor workflow adherence and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
  
• Collaborate with leadership and IT to identify opportunities for workflow optimization.
  
• Participate in testing of new EPIC functionalities and provide usability feedback.
  
• Escalate system issues or enhancement requests as appropriate.
  
• Stay updated on the latest EPIC system updates and department-relevant functionality.
  
• Attend superuser meetings, feedback sessions, and focus groups.
  
• Promote change and support quality improvement initiatives related to EPIC usage.
  

Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
  
• Associate or Bachelor�s degree in healthcare, IT, or related field preferred.
  

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on EPIC experience in a clinical or operational capacity.
  
• Must have been a direct EPIC user within the past 3 years.
  
• At least 1 year of direct EPIC use required.
  
• Prior experience as a superuser, trainer, or peer support role preferred.
  

Licensure:

• RN background required.
  
• Active RN license not required for this role.
  

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of EPIC workflows and documentation.
  
• Ability to communicate and train effectively.
  
• Team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  
• Detail-oriented and capable of working independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  

Additional Information:

• This is an onsite position located at a healthcare facility in South Kingstown, RI.
  
• No remote work option is available.
  
• Candidates must be available to work full-time, Monday through Friday, during standard daytime hours.
