Entry Level Laborer

Blackjack Kustomz LLC is a fast-growing environmental remediation company working across the western United States. We partner with major railroad companies to recycle used railroad ties directly from the tracks, helping to protect and clean up the environment.

We’re looking to hire entry-level traveling laborers to join our mobile field crew. No prior experience is needed - we provide paid training. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, traveling frequently, and working independently with minimal supervision.

Pay

• Laborer: $11.00 per hour (paid hourly)
  
• Operator: Production-based
  
• Entry-level operators: approx. $700+ per week (before taxes)
  
• Experienced operators: approx. $900+ per week (before taxes)

Job Responsibilities

• Strap bundles of recycled railroad ties using company tools
  
• Follow all safety guidelines and use provided PPE
  
• Help maintain a clean and organized job site
  
• Grease tools and skid steers
  
• Collect and store tools daily
  
• Track and support your own training progress
  
• Assist with loading for shipment and collecting truck info

Work Schedule & Travel

• Extensive out-of-state travel required (mostly western U.S.)
  
• 5 to 8 weeks on, followed by 1-2 weeks off
  
• Workdays are 7 days a week, with extended hours
  
• Job takes place outdoors in various weather conditions

Requirements

• Age 18+
  
• Pass a federal background check
  
• Pass a federal drug test, including for marijuana
  
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs regularly
  
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision
  
• Willing to travel with 24-48 hours� notice
  
• Own a pair of steel toe lace-up boots (we provide hard hat, vest, eye protection)
  
• Good communication and time management skills
