A global automotive parts manufacturer in the Columbus, Ohio area is looking for a
Entry level Japanese / English Translator-Interpreter to assist the team. This is a full-time and direct hire position with a comprehensive benefits package. Entry level is encouraged to apply.- Translation of documents, emails etc.
- Multicultural communication in office and factory setting
- Assistance with executive meetings between upper management, clients, etc.
- Respond to and address administrative inquiries and questions
- Coordinate and schedule meetings and appointments for associates and managers
- Enter data into their database using Microsoft Office, such as excel
- Cross-department communication and reporting
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Strong experience in Japanese and English interpretation and translation
- Near-first language or business-level fluency in Japanese and English
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to do other tasks as assigned
