We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting engineering projects by providing technical assistance, conducting data collection, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This position requires a strong foundation in engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and other professionals.
- Perform field surveys to collect attributes and location data utilizing various methods which may include GPS and/or total station survey equipment.
- Provide a full range of drawing production work including schematic design through construction drawings.
- Compile historical data for new projects.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D software for creating detailed models and drawings as part of the design process.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D for design modeling and drafting.
- Ability to interpret schematics and engineering drawings accurately.
- Competence in data collection techniques relevant to engineering applications.
- Familiarity with land surveying principles and practices.
- Understanding of construction management practices to support project execution.
- Computer literacy including Microsoft 365
