The Aluminum Extrusion Die Shop & Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing both the physical maintenance and correction of aluminum extrusion dies and the design and development of new dies and tooling using CAD software. This dual-role position ensures seamless integration between die design, correction, and production performance, supporting high-quality, efficient extrusion operations.

• Supervise die correction, polishing, nitriding, and storage processes.
  
• Lead a team of die technicians, ensuring proper training and adherence to safety protocols.
  
• Coordinate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve die-related issues.
  
• Maintain die inventory, performance logs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
  

• Review and approve technical drawings and 3D models for manufacturability and performance.
  
• Collaborate with engineering and die shop teams to optimize die designs based on extrusion feedback.
  
• Maintain CAD libraries, design standards, and revision control.
  
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives in die design and performance.

• 5+ years of experience in aluminum extrusion die design and/or die shop operations.
  
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  
• Strong understanding of aluminum flow, die mechanics, and extrusion processes.
  
• Leadership experience in a manufacturing or tooling environment.
  

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
