The Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing engineering, including automation, projects, and process solutions. The manager will also ensure the safe installation and qualification testing of new equipment, replacement and upgrading of plant equipment and systems while maximizing production quantity and quality and supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the organization. Responsibility for the capital budget and execution is also included.
+ Responsible for employee relations including work direction of employees, hiring, training, performance reviews, administering policies and procedures, disciplinary action, and compensation recommendations.
+ Direct implementation of departmental objectives, goals, and policies.
+ Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and guidelines.
+ Communicate effectively with employees, production, quality, management, and other team members.
+ Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
+ Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
+ Support safety policies and programs.
